November 2025 Infrastructure Committee Report
Eager to Start Transition Study
By Chuck DeCoste, Chair
At the time of writing this update, we still are awaiting completion of the new amenities so that we can get our transition study underway. Like the rest of the community, we are disappointed with the continued delays, plus the lack of information and excuses from our developer.
We did hear back from Epcon Warranty regarding our claims on the Phase 2 retaining walls. We received a certificate of the work being completed, but we are skeptical about the claim that all of the issues were addressed properly. We plan to conduct more reviews of this issue, involving an engineering firm, over the next few months.
We have not heard back about our requests that issues with the Phase 1 retaining walls be addressed. This likely will require follow-up by our team and the board. There are too many issues and unanswered questions regarding these walls.
We have investigated a few sidewalks and drainage issues pointed out by residents, and we’ve consulted with the board regarding the “punch list” of items that need to be completed or fixed, as well as the tree protection areas.
We don’t always have all the expertise needed, but we will always work to get the correct answers.
