When Epcon informed the homeowners association board in January that the certificate of occupancy for the new amenities finally had been received, we rescheduled our contracted engineering firm to return to our neighborhood to complete their assessment. 

 

This visit occurred Feb. 12, so the lead engineer has the information needed to put together the transition study.

 

We were surprised by the number of concerns noted during this inspection, especially since it is new construction. The punch list included workmanship issues as well as malfunctioning mechanical and plumbing items. Some items will require immediate action, while others will be on our warranty list.

We now are awaiting the draft report for our review. Then, a few weeks later, we will receive the final report.  We hope the final report will be completed in the next month or two.
